Florence: Nicola Pisano

Nicola Pisano c1206-1278 

On the facade of the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, niches in the column piers alternate with sculptures. Nicola Pisano was a 13th century Italian sculptor and the above work was by the 19th century Italian sculptor Pio Fedi.
